**Description**

Position: Inventory Control Associate

Reports To: Inventory Control Supervisor

Department: Inventory Control

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

The Inventory Control department is responsible for the integrity and maintenance of all goods in the distribution center.

Responsibilities:

* Reconciling goods received and delivered on a daily and weekly basis.

* Cycle Counting of merchandise and goods in the warehouse.

* Processing of damaged goods and merchandise.

* Assigning primary locations for goods and merchandise for product placement.

* Assist production planning team with next days product and merchandise flow.

* Break primary locations daily to assist with next days inbound production.

* Research SKUs to assist accounting department with weekly bill payment.

* Create daily projects for letdown/put away team.

* Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with any projects that develop to assist in daily production.

* Billing/crediting stores for goods.

* Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

* Must be accurate with attention to detail.

* Good communication with all team members.

* Ability to communicate with other departments, supervisors, other distribution center, and support center staff professionally.

* Must be able to work as a team with emphasis on individual goals.

* Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and AS400.

* Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done), including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to set for extended period of time at a desk.

* Ability to work on computer for extended period of time.

* Ability to bend and twist frequently.

* Ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently.

* Ability to squat, kneel, balance, and climb occasionally.

* Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.

* Must have ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures.
